Israeli rabbi Dov Lior rules settlers may take olives from Palestinian land in occupied West Bank, saying harvest demonstrates Jewish ownership

Israeli Channel 13 reported that prominent Israeli rabbi Dov Lior issued a religious ruling permitting Israeli “settlers” to take olives from Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank.
Lior argued that Palestinians have no ownership rights over the land or its crops, including in areas far from Israeli settlements. He said harvesting the olives demonstrates Jewish ownership.
