Ben-Gvir says Netanyahu’s office assured several EU states he would be excluded from the next government; Likud calls the claim ‘false political spins’

Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said he had received “verified” information that Netanyahu’s office assured several European Union countries he would not be part of the next government. He said the message was conveyed to EU foreign ministers or higher-level officials, and added that he spoke “with deep sorrow.”
Likud rejected the allegation as “false political spins.” The party said any future government would be based on the current coalition partners and urged voters to support Likud to prevent a left-wing government led by Gadi Eisenkot.
