U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged Israel to crack down on settler violence after Israeli settlers attacked American photojournalist Heidi Levine in the occupied West Bank. He said Washington was “very disturbed” by the assault.
Rubio also stressed that Donald Trump does not want to see a new crisis in the West Bank.
U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee called the attack a “despicable act of terror” and demanded a full investigation, as well as the arrest and imprisonment of those responsible.
