UAE official says ‘everything is on the table’ if Iran attacks again, vowing necessary steps to protect the country and its people

The United Arab Emirates will take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, national security and people if Iran launches further attacks, Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi said at the UAE Correspondents’ Majlis in Dubai. Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Federal National Council’s Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee, said all options remained available in responding to threats from Tehran.

The remarks came after months of regional tensions and previous Iranian missile and drone strikes targeting UAE infrastructure and civilian areas.
