Iranian security authorities have arrested 39 people in Qazvin province on charges of collaborating with the United States and Israel to carry out arson and looting during riots earlier this year, IRIB reported, citing the provincial intelligence department.
The department said the suspects operated in eight organized cells allegedly responsible for attacks on public and private assets. The detainees are accused of setting fire to homes, large commercial centers, banks, private vehicles and a fuel station, as well as looting shops and government infrastructure.
