U.S. Army tests Ukrainian Magura naval drones as aerial-drone launch platforms in Michigan, in the second known U.S. use of the boats this year

The U.S. Army tested Ukrainian Magura naval drones as floating launch platforms for aerial drones during the Bayonet Quest 26 exercise in Michigan. It was the second known use of the boats by U.S. forces this year.
The 7th Infantry Division used MV7 boats built by Ukrainian company Uforce, equipped with launch platforms on their bows. The uncrewed boats operated alongside a crewed Mk VI patrol boat in tests focused on coastal warfare relevant to the Indo-Pacific.
The Magura drones have been used by Ukraine against Russian ships in the Black Sea, where they are combat-proven.
