Zelensky stays in contact with U.S. envoys on peace talks, with another meeting possible this week as he describes risks to Ukraine as “tsunami”-scale

Ukrainian President Zelensky remains in close contact with U.S. envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff over peace negotiations, Bloomberg reported. Another meeting could take place later this week.

Zelensky said that when potential risks for Ukraine reach “tsunami proportions,” action should be taken while the situation is still “just a mild storm.” He also said he believed “much more is at stake than the diesel deal.”
