Israeli PM Netanyahu says directive to Mossad, IDF and military intelligence is to overthrow Iran’s regime

Eastora News·

EASTORA REPORT | Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his current directive to the Mossad, the Israel Defense Forces and Military Intelligence is to overthrow Iran’s government.

“My directive today to the Mossad, the IDF and Military Intelligence is to overthrow this regime,” Netanyahu said in an interview with Israel’s Channel 14 aired Monday.

Netanyahu also said U.S. President Donald Trump shares his desire to eliminate what he described as the Iranian threat “once and for all.”

In the same interview, Netanyahu argued that an alliance between “the extreme left and radical Islam” had already “destroyed” countries larger than Israel. “They have destroyed France. They have destroyed Britain,” he said.

The remarks came a day after Trump publicly endorsed Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s October 27 election. During a phone call Monday following the endorsement, Netanyahu told Trump that they still had “a job to finish” in Iran and said they would finish it together.
