Russia struck Kyiv’s historic center overnight with an Iskander ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead, Ukrainian defense technology adviser Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov said.
The warhead releases 58 submunitions that explode in the air across an area of about 400 by 400 meters. Its design is intended to maximize harm to people and equipment. Many civilians were injured and buildings were damaged.
