Trump says developments in the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran are expected ‘fairly soon,’ while denying Washington is negotiating with Tehran

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that developments in the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran were expected “fairly soon,” while denying that Washington was negotiating with Tehran.

Asked about the status of talks, Trump said, “I think we are not negotiating.” He added that “something one way or the other” would happen fairly soon, and that most people seemed to think it would be after the election, adding, “we’re going to see what happens.”

Trump also said the United States was “doing very well militarily and financially against Iran.”
