Israeli intelligence reportedly shares target data with Saudi Arabia for Yemen strikes, while an official cites strategic interests and tactical monitoring
Israeli military intelligence is sharing strategic target information with Saudi Arabia to support its campaign against Yemen’s Armed Forces, also known as Ansarallah, The Jerusalem Post reported. The report says the information is intended to assist Saudi operations in Yemen.
Israeli officials acknowledged that intelligence passed through U.S. mediation helps facilitate Saudi airstrikes on targets in Yemen.
An Israeli military official confirmed the intelligence-sharing mechanism, saying that weakening Yemeni military capabilities serves Tel Aviv’s regional strategic interests. The official also said the arrangement allows the Israeli military to monitor and study tactical operations on the ground.
The account describes the disclosures as evidence of a deepening, clandestine security alignment between Riyadh and Tel Aviv, as regional resistance operations continue to challenge U.S. and Israeli military dominance across the region. It also says Saudi Arabia’s ongoing intelligence coordination puts Riyadh in direct collaboration with an Israeli administration it describes as carrying out “mass atrocities” in Gaza and extensive destruction across southern Lebanon.
