Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told ABC News that Starlink is still not fully working and remains limited, despite assurances from U.S. President Donald Trump. At the White House, Trump told reporters he had not yet spoken with Elon Musk about the network’s ongoing problems. The Trump administration denied ordering a slowdown in networks supported by Starshield and Starlink, and pointed instead to SpaceX.

Zelenskyy also said Ukraine had received only 24 Patriot interceptor missiles from the United States over the past three months. He contrasted that figure with the 30 ballistic missiles that struck Kyiv on Thursday night alone and an estimated monthly need of 350 interceptors.

Diplomatic efforts are also ongoing. Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg following talks in Oslo. Putin said Thursday that Russia was ready to resume trilateral talks once final peace agreements are reached.
