Two close advisers to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly cooperated with Germany’s co-ruling Christian Democratic Union on a public relations campaign supporting proposed legislation in the southern state of Hesse, according to a media report.
The bill aims to criminalize denial of Israel’s right to exist. The report says the two advisers helped the CDU advance the legislative effort.
