Palestinian Authority urges pressure on Israel over Hebron mass demolitions following deadly West Bank operation on Oct. 23

The Palestinian Authority on Saturday urged the international community to pressure Israel to protect Palestinians after Israel began a mass demolition campaign in Hebron following the deadly West Bank resistance operation on Oct. 23.

The PA foreign ministry cited “growing threats to expand the scope of forced displacement and destruction” and said urgent international action was needed. It called for steps that “go beyond condemnation” and include “tangible and deterrent measures.”
