Pezeshkian to meet Putin in Moscow next week during gas-exporters summit, with talks set to cover economic ties and geopolitics

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is due to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow next week while travelling to Russia for a summit of gas-exporting countries, Iranian media reported. Tasnim news agency, citing Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said the summit will take place on Tuesday, October 27.

Jalali said the two leaders would discuss economic cooperation and “questions of geopolitics.”
