Rupert Lowe says Britain owes no country unconditional support after reports Netanyahu backed Argentina’s claim to the Falkland Islands

Rupert Lowe, leader of the Restore Britain party, said the UK owes no country unconditional support. His remarks followed reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had ordered support for Argentina’s sovereignty claim over the Falkland Islands.

Lowe said British interests must come first and rejected automatic backing for any foreign government. He said his comments addressed the diplomatic fallout from the reported shift over the Falklands sovereignty dispute.
