Sources say Iraq suspects Israel carried out strikes on Oct. 17 against two Chinese air-defense systems supplied by Iran to Iranian proxy militias.
Separately, sources cited by a-Sharq al-Awsat said a series of explosions in areas around Baghdad on Oct. 1 targeted warehouses storing drones for the militias.
A video released by one of the militias’ intelligence arms (PMF) allegedly shows the aftermath of one of the strikes.
