Hezbollah has spent three months preparing for a possible new war with Israel, using tens of millions of dollars from Iran to rebuild its military capabilities, Reuters reported, citing Lebanese security sources.
The group is focusing on explosives and attack drones while restoring command structures damaged in previous battles. Its weapons stockpiles and fighting forces nevertheless remain understrength.
Hezbollah is also on alert for a possible escalation between the United States and Iran that could reignite fighting in Lebanon.
