Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei described Tehran’s hosting of senior military and security officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye as a key development toward establishing regional diplomacy.
He said lasting stability and security in the Middle East can be achieved only by relying on the region’s own countries, and that the meeting could pave the way for broader cooperation.
