President Donald Trump renewed his endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, two days before Israel’s election, urging voters to reelect him so the two leaders could “finish the job” against Iran.

In a Truth Social post addressed to Israelis, Trump attached the endorsement he first issued a week earlier and called Netanyahu an “outstanding Warrior Prime Minister.” He said the two had worked together against Iran and urged voters: “Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister, we have to finish the job that we started!”

Trump cited Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury, saying the first prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and the second left Iran with “No Navy, No Air Force” and its military and economy “in shambles.”

He also claimed Iran’s inflation had reached 301%. The International Monetary Fund projects consumer-price inflation of about 69% for Iran in 2026, while Iran’s Statistical Center reported September point-to-point inflation of about 90%.

Trump’s assertion that Iran has no navy or air force also goes beyond available assessments. U.S. strikes have severely degraded both, but U.S. officials have previously assessed that portions of Iran’s naval and air capabilities remained operational.

Trump further credited the U.S. naval blockade with crippling Iran’s economy. The blockade has effectively halted Iranian seaborne crude exports in recent months, though Trump described it as preventing Iran from “getting Oil,” rather than preventing its oil from leaving the country.

His latest intervention comes after Netanyahu sought additional public support from Trump ahead of Tuesday’s closely contested election. Trump first gave Netanyahu his “complete and total endorsement” on Oct. 18.
