A large explosion struck an apparent weapons depot or warehouse near Saraqib in eastern Idlib province, Syria.

Footage shows a huge orange fireball and a plume of smoke rising, followed by secondary blasts and ammunition flying through the air. The sequence is consistent with stored munitions detonating.

Since September, a series of explosions has hit ammunition stores and sites holding leftover munitions across Syria. Some of those sites belong to the Defence Ministry.
