Brazilian federal police are checking border crossings to determine whether Flávio Bolsonaro left Brazil after losing the presidential election to Lula, Folha de S.Paulo reported.

Argentine media reported that Bolsonaro may have crossed into Argentina to board a private jet to the United States. Brazilian and Argentine authorities found no record of his entry, while an ally denied that he had left Brazil.

The investigation follows a Supreme Court order revoking Bolsonaro’s passports and barring him from leaving the country.
