The Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission said attacks by Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers against Palestinians during the olive harvest season have increased steadily over the past five years, reaching 482 incidents so far in 2026. The commission reported the figure on Monday and said it remains preliminary as the season continues.

The commission recorded 136 attacks during the 2022 harvest season, 333 in 2023, 407 in 2024 and more than 441 in 2025, before reaching 482 so far this year.

It warned that the rising attacks are putting greater pressure on Palestinian farmers, restricting their access to agricultural land and threatening their livelihoods. The commission said the olive harvest is economically and nationally important for sustaining Palestinian communities and strengthening their connection to their land.
