Yemen’s armed forces announce missile and drone operations at four Saudi sites, claiming hits on aircraft, the Defense Ministry and Abha airport
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on October 27 a series of missile and drone operations against Saudi military targets, reporting successful strikes at several sites.
At Najran Airport, a ballistic missile targeted a military transport aircraft. Saree said the strike achieved its objective. A second ballistic missile targeted another military transport aircraft at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait; the Yemeni Armed Forces said that strike was successful.
Saree also reported that a ballistic missile hit the headquarters of Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry in Riyadh, describing it as a direct hit.
At Abha International Airport, a drone targeted the airport. Saree said it struck its target accurately and disrupted air traffic.
