Joint Maritime Information Center issues ‘severe’ threat advisory after US activates blockade enforcement operations across Gulf waterways

The Joint Maritime Information Center has issued a severe threat advisory following the activation of US military blockade enforcement operations across the Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.

The advisory urges vessel owners, operators and mariners in the region to remain extremely vigilant and contact Navcent Ncags or Ukmto immediately for further operational directives.
