Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski says Putin wants talks to win what he failed to conquer, while still short of all of Donbas after 13 years of fighting

Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski said Putin’s position has changed, despite Putin saying it has not. Sikorski argued that Putin had wanted all of Ukraine and that it was already clear he would not conquer the whole country.

Sikorski said Putin would like to win at the negotiating table what he had failed to conquer on the battlefield. He added that Putin had not conquered all of Donbas, where he said fighting had continued for 13 years.
