Iranian lawmaker warns renewed U.S. or Israeli aggression could bring missile strikes within range of Europe and push crude above $150 a barrel
Iranian lawmaker Hossein Ali Haji Deligani warned that renewed aggression by the United States or Israeli occupation forces would prompt a wide-scale response, including missile strikes reaching targets across Europe. Deligani, a member of parliament representing Shahin Shahr, made the remarks to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
Deligani said Iran’s retaliatory operational doctrine would not be limited by geography or by the initial scale of an attack. He said the range of responding missiles would encompass Europe and that global crude prices would exceed $150 a barrel, describing the response as “massive, multiplied, and strategic.”
He also called Washington’s ongoing naval blockade against Iranian ports an explicit act of war against Iran and warned that the armed forces would strike back “at the appropriate moment.”
The remarks were described as signaling growing readiness within parliament for broader escalation, amid economic pressures and maritime blockades said to threaten regional stability.
