Trump aides increasingly frustrated by White House renovation focus after GOP midterm losses, with some weighing exits and allies fearing staffing problems

Current and former officials told Ms Now that morale among Trump aides is low following Republicans’ sweeping midterm losses, and that some staffers are considering leaving the administration. They said Trump refuses to accept responsibility for the defeat and remains focused on White House construction projects costing more than $600 million.

One former official warned that Trump’s MAGA agenda may be beyond saving. Another said staffers are already trying to “jump ship.”

Allies also fear Trump will struggle to recruit and retain personnel during his final two years in office, particularly with Democrats now controlling Congress.
