Yemen’s Armed Forces said coalition warplanes carried out 61 air raids across Sanaa and nine other provinces on Thursday, bringing the recorded total since the current escalation began to 4,000. The forces also reported retaliatory drone operations deep inside Saudi territory.

The Ministry of Health in Sanaa documented about 20 civilian casualties from recent bombardments. The ministry cited strikes that destroyed a plastics factory in Taiz governorate and targeted the Al-Talh area in the Sahar district of Saada governorate, along the Saudi border.

The forces said they launched drone strikes against King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, following earlier operations targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

They reiterated that Saudi airspace remains an active theater for retaliatory military operations, while explicitly exempting the airspace above Mecca and Medina from targeting.
