Israel is stripping Dutch diplomats in Ramallah of Israeli-granted diplomatic status after the Netherlands imposed a sweeping settlement-goods ban.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on X that the diplomats have seven days to return their Israeli-issued documents, after which their privileges and immunities will expire.

The Dutch ban took effect on Sept. 22, covering imports, purchases and sales of goods from Israeli settlements in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights. Sa’ar said Israel had already removed the Dutch delegation from a Gaza support center last month.
