Erdoğan says Türkiye will keep pressing for legal accountability over Gaza and Israel’s wider military actions across the region.

The Turkish president said Ankara would not soften its position until those responsible for what he called crimes against humanity, the deaths of 74,000 people in Gaza and violence extending from Lebanon to Syria are brought before the law.

“We will continue to speak the truth with courage,” Erdoğan said.

His remarks follow a series of recent speeches in which he has argued that those responsible for alleged war crimes should face prosecution rather than international political protection.
