The measures, announced under “Operation Economic Outcast,” target procurement networks that Washington says supplied Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics with electronics, weapons and dual-use components.

Treasury says the equipment supported Iranian ballistic missile, drone and military-aircraft programs, and that the latest sanctions are designed to make it harder for Tehran to source critical parts through overseas intermediaries.

The action comes as Washington continues to widen its economic campaign against Iran, targeting not only Iranian institutions but also foreign companies and facilitators accused of keeping its military procurement networks operating.
