According to Israeli reports, the options included an IDF C-130 Hercules and a civilian El Al flight. Instead, another Flydubai aircraft is expected to fly to Tabuk and carry the passengers onward to Tel Aviv.

The passengers have remained in Saudi Arabia since Flight FZ1073 made an emergency landing following a violent cockpit incident. Israeli officials say arrangements are underway to bring them home safely.
