Trump is expected to unveil a $200 billion wave of South Korean investment in U.S. energy and infrastructure projects, led by a roughly $54 billion commitment tied to Alaska LNG.

The package, part of Seoul’s broader $350 billion U.S. investment framework, also includes plans for eight large nuclear reactors and a 6-gigawatt gas-fired power project in Texas.

Reuters says the Alaska LNG project is set to receive the biggest single allocation, though South Korean officials have stressed that some projects — including Alaska LNG and the nuclear plants — still require further commercial review.

The broader agreement also includes a separate $150 billion commitment aimed at expanding U.S. shipbuilding capacity.
